First Tours in 1998
Travelwild Australia began operating tours in 1998 under the name Campwild Adventures, our fisrt tours were backpacker 4WD tours to Kangaroo Island, the tours were quickly expanded and in the first year we were on a trip to Alice Springs and Darwin with a 20 days Expedition through central Australia. In 2005 Wild Adventures Camp has been sold and now Wild Travel groups together backpacker similar trips around Australia under the banner Wild Travel, the responsibility of the daily management of the tours is left to a handful of local operators who specialize in their region, local knowledge is very important in conducting tours if you want to learn the best spots on the best time of year, understanding the weather and the local flora and fauna, and that is what Wild Travel offers.
